My job was to create an animated guide to teach viewers how to film “broadcast-ready” videos on their phones so the editors wouldn’t lose their minds!

I went all out on this one initially, I designed and fully rigged a 2D character to lead the tutorial. Mid-way through, the project budget got squeezed, so we had to simplify the final video to keep things moving.

Even though the final edit was scaled back, I’m still very proud of the work that went into it. The character and all the custom animations were fully developed and ready to go. It’s a great example of how I can build a complex “world” of assets, even when the final production plan changes.
