Ano, šéfe! Redesign
In 2024, I was commissioned to lead the visual evolution of the iconic Czech TV hit Ano, šéfe!. The challenge was twofold: preserve the spirit that audiences loved, while completely modernizing a visual identity that had remained unchanged for several years, making it look outdated.
After an extensive exploration phase and collaboration with stakeholders, we developed a refined identity centered around a metallic, rounded emblem. By integrating a knife motif (the ultimate symbol of the kitchen) we created a logo that feels both sharp and premium.
Beyond the logo, I developed a comprehensive on-air graphics system. This included the entire motion language of the show: dynamic wipe masks, transition jingles, lower-third name tags, and credit sequences. Each element was designed to bring a high-energy, modern rhythm to the screen.
This was a high-stakes project that was deeply personal for me. Having grown up watching the original broadcasts, it was a privilege to be the one to steer the visual future of such a cultural staple in Czech television.
